The VTCT Level 4 in Micropigmentation has a guided learning hours expectation of 200 hours. This includes a pre-study manual introducing you to the foundations of the course and some history of the industry.
Andrea Toth VTCT qualiﬁcation is an initial 8 days training at Andrea Toth Training Academy followed by 1-day assessment, where students are guided through all aspects of Micropigmentation - from health and safety and trolley set up, to completing practical treatments on models and preparing for portfolios.

There are 7 written assignments to be completed at home. Each assignment is broken down into short paragraph - answers to questions can be found in the assessment book. Andrea Toth will happily guide you through this process.
VTCT require 6 treatment observation assessments, which will be carried out during initial training at the centre plus 3 on your initial training you will be required to complete 10 case studies for eyebrows, 10 for lip and 10 for eyeliner. Then you will come back for your ﬁnial observation of 1 eyebrow treatment, 1 eyeliner treatment and 1 lip treatment. You. will have 6 months to complete your case studies and return for your ﬁnal observation

£6,400 – For new students
£750 – For already qualiﬁed semi-permanent makeup artist who have been trained by Andrea Toth and are wanting their certiﬁcate conversion
£1,500 – For students trained by other academies and are wanting to convert their certiﬁcate – This will be a 2-day course

This course is designed for anyone who is interested in semi-permanent makeup artists interested in gaining the VTCT level 4 qualiﬁcation including those already qualiﬁed in semi-permanent makeup
This qualiﬁcation is the only Level 4 qualiﬁcation offered by VTCT in Micropigmentation. The VTCT Level 4 Certiﬁcate in Micropigmentation is about using micropigmentation, a form of cosmetic tattooing to create makeup effects to enhance facial features. This qualiﬁcation requires learners to develop skills to carry out micropigmentation treatments. This qualiﬁcation allows learners to gather evidence in a realistic working environment or real working environment without the need for fee paying clients.
VTCT Level 4 Certiﬁcate in micropigmentation is an 8-day course plus 1-day exam, where you will learn everything you need to know about micropigmentation and semi-permanent makeup. The course covers the skills involved in carrying out a thorough consultation with your client, accommodating their proposed treatment to their facial needs. You will also prepare for and perform a range of micropigmentation effects and learning about the necessary aftercare for the treatment.

All students must have a great willingness to learn, be self-motivated and acquire excellent organizational skills. VTCT Level 4 students must have acquired at least a minimum of Level 2 in Beauty Therapy.
This is altogether over 9-days – 8 days followed by an additional 1 – day for the assessment
As part of this qualiﬁcation you are required to essentially construct a portfolio of evidence. This will enable you to prove your knowledge, understanding and skills that you have obtained during the course. This may be in paper or electronic format. All evidence should be documented within the portfolio.
On successful completion of this course Candidates will receive a VTCT Level 4 certiﬁcate in micropigmentation.
